Motherhood is hard.
Has anyone ever actually denied that, though?
Most of the week goes swiftly, except for the dreaded Sunday evenings. My to-do list is a mile long, constantly. Not only is all my homework due on Sunday nights - but I also enjoy doing a 'Sunday Reset' on my house. Organize the living room and bedrooms, finish the dishes, tidy up the kitchen, deep clean the bathroom, do the 70 loads of laundry that seem to pile up during the week... It's genuinely a never-ending cycle.
Summertime has started. I have yet to decide if this has created more or less work for me; however, having the kids home for a few days with a completely open schedule has been lovely. (Aside from photo sessions and homework, of course.) Today the kiddos let me take their photos for the watermelon mini-sessions I am currently offering.
I am constantly thinking of ways I can better my business and my life - I'm looking forward to sharing all the ups and downs along the way.
It is 10:03 PM, and I'm writing this before heading to bed. My alarms are set for 5 AM to wake up for some more homework and business needs before the kids awake for breakfast and the steady question, "Can we go outside to play?". I am so excited about all the large and small changes that will be coming into play over these next few weeks/months.
